Hi Aaron the Staind show was great at Mohegun Sun 3-d should be great thanks for meeting the fans with your family and friends at the show you guys rock taking time to say hi.well look forward to the feb show have a great tour.....
Is the fact the "Something to Remind You" being the last song on the new album symbollic of something, is it a coincidence that it's there & I am reading too much into it.
I can't wait until you do another acoustic show in Mass (HOPE that happens). Appreciate you man...you're wicked awesome! Screw all those rude fucks out there. You do so much awesome shit that you don't have to & people should not just expect that. Pisses me off that people try & take advantage. Also, I LOVE love love your hometown pride & am proud when I see you representing us Massholes.
cannot wait for the uk shows!! small question but is there any chance that at least on the manchester show waste could be on the set list??? sorry to be rude and ask just really would love to hear it live!if not no worries and other wise so happy to know your back in uk!!
I was in Kuwait at Camp AJ when Aaron came over....I was deployed at the time with the US Army and actually got to visit with Aaron at the USO after the show....I just want to try and get a message to him that me and my wife will be at the show tomorrow nite in Grant OK and if possible my wife would love to meet him....I know he is busy and will not have much time but if you could just get my message to him, I think he would take the time to at least meet my wife and shake my hand. My name is Stuart Box my cell number is 214-548-2367 and my email is firstname.lastname@example.org... If you could get him this message that would be great and I will try at the show to get a message to him as well..so maybe if he knows that I will be trying to reach him at the show he won't think I am some freak like he sees probably at every show....Thank you very much......
Aaron.congrats on your solo debut & the upcoming release of the bands new disc.I am writing because of the horrific catastrophy in Joplin,Mo.Each morning I read the stories unfolding in the Joplin Globe.A tornado w/winds of 200mph cutting a path 3/4 x6miles utter destruction is unfathomable.I live near the center of westfield,mass.6 miles is from the green to almost kings highway in wspfld.Franklin st to Rt 23,The green to Southampton golf course,or the green to the McDonalds in Southwick.I,m sure you've traveled these routes at some point so you can get a mental image.
I know you can't walk on water or wear a "S" on your chest. You do however have the ability to reach thousands of people through your shows and web site (s).On 9/11 the 1st celebrity to put up a monetary donation was Jim Carey.A CANADIAN.Bob Hope entertained our troops in S East Asia for the holidays for years,AN ENGLISHMAN.
You don't have to do a charity show or cut a tune to help, although they are options. But find out where to send financial support and ask your fan base to help. This storm took infants to elderly.a few kids were on their way home from their High School graduation and never made it.Read the stories in the Joplin Globe and get a better image than the few minute clips on the nightly news.
Many of these people don't know who you or the band are,and probably will never buy your music.Lead the charge and your name will resonate the ears of that community for generations to come.A person is not judged by the status they attain or the wealth they amass, but the good they do with it.
I apollogize if this seems like a guilt trip its not meant to be.I enjoy your music, will attend the ITAC show(s) again this year, and buy your music. My opinion of you and the band will not change.Take a few minutes in your hotel room to read the stories and see if you feel the need to help.I do.Otherwise I wouldn't bother you with this letter.
Hey Aaron my name is Justin Smith. So I heard about Jon quiting the band. Well I play drums and have for about 8 years and I am a huge fan of you and Staind. So I am VERY interested in playing drums for you guys. It would be my dream. I know just about all of your songs on drums and some on acoustic guitar. If I could hear back from you or something that would be great. Thanks. Take Care.
Aaron...I know how hard it is for you to wrap your head around how much you help people of all ages, I am no kid, but you do,just ride the wave, keep going, believe in yourself as we your fans do, you still have so much to give, believe in your dreams....
Not big on the blogging thing but I just wanted you to know that the Look Park show and the It Takes a Community program is a terrific thing you have going. Being from small town in Rhode Island, and seeing all these budget cuts and schools closing, it's refreshing to see someone come to the forefront and make a difference, especially in the lives of children. You are a credit to the community and the lives of children in the New England area!! More people have to take a page out of your book!! Thank you!! I will be at the show again this year and contribute what I can!!
