Vegas BABY!!!
So everyone i live around and the family I told about it thought I was crazy.....I packed up my bags and overpaid for a plane ticket to go meet a bunch of people I have never met in my life to share a Staind Concert!!!!! My husband wanted me to go and have a good time, but I know he was "nervous", and Hell I was scared too!! Not because i thought i was getting ready to meet a bunch of ax murderers, but because I was gonna be out of my element, and I was scared these people werent gonna like me....I swear, just like i was in 3rd grade or something and not getting picked for dodgeball..lmao....
Then it all happened....I met eveyone, I was kinda quiet, and then the trip just kinda unfolded, without time to really consider if they cared for me or not! It seemed that we got along, I dont know if I was accepted or not, but i for sure was made to feel welcome! The Concert on friday was the best part of the whole thing....I didnt think i was gonna get to meet Aaron Lewis...and then like a lil bit before the show I did....and I was TORE UP!!!! Couldnt hardly breath, thought I was gonna cry, and was shaking like an epileptic!!! All these things that I have seen from other people in the past meeting the various artists they are fans of, and well I thought they were freaking nuts.....Now I know...its something to see this person up close and personal whom you have the utmost respect for, and who inspires you so much thru his words!! It was surreal, and its a feeling I cant wait to expierence again!! I felt like a dork, but I was just being real!
I see some people on here who have seen him soo many times, even commented that they are like friends, and "why would I ask my friend for an autograph".....I dont think i will ever get to that point with Aaron Lewis or Staind, and frankly I dont think I wanna, cause that surreal feeling I got when I just caught a glimpse of him...I wouldnt want that to be any different! Maybe id like to be able to talk more and shake less, but Its Awesome to be a fan!! To support the band you love, meet them from time to time..as much as you can! Thanks to Tony, Cindy, Rosie, Gerry, and Christy(AKA Candy Licisious) and Joe!!! You are made this what it was!

yeah you were shaking so much that I had to take the camera away and take the photo, lol. the first time is always nerv racking, but you'll get used to it....I also got tossed Friday night, the best night!

Yeah, That feeling is one of the greatest feelings in the world. I will never forget it. I am glad you had such a good time. I can just imagine how cool that trip was. I wish I could've went, too! lol..I have made so many friends on here and they are great. They don't even know me, and they just took me in. I think around here if you are a real Staind fan, You are already accepted. We are all connected through the music. I am glad you finally got to have that feeling! It's amazing, aint it?
