Thank You SW Airlines!
Its been 2 weeks today I suprised my wife with a trip to see Staind in Vegas for her birthday and still on an incredible high! When I mean surpirse I mean she had now idea when I woke her up at 6:00am Friday May 15th that we would be seating 10 rows from the stage at 7:30pm in Henderson NV. The show totally kicked ass an not to mention on the way out meeting Aaron which was an amazing experince. I dont know which suprized her more, the trip or Aaron Lewis personlly wishing her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Airfare and hotel $1000, rental car $260, tickets to Staind $160, meeting Aaron Lewis......PRICELESS! Oh yeah bout the "THANK YOU SW AIRLINES" After getting home and unpacking my luggage I noticed something didnt look right, after futher investigating both my IPOD'S were mysteriouly missing. My 30gb video, my new 32gb IPOD touch, two cell chargers and my digital cameras charger which I can not up load any pictures to share until I get a new charger. Airlines only respsonse is to "have a nice day". I had every Staind CD and numerous videos on my 30gb which has me completly bummed. Since my home comp crashed about 6 months ago I'm back to the drawing board on my music so once again THANK YOU SW AIRLINES<-------GIVING THE MIDDLE FINGER SALUTE!

Glad to hear you guys had a good trip, except for the airline trouble. She must've been totally shocked that you did all that for her..That is one hell of a B-Day present...My computer also crashed awhile back and I lost all my music, too. It sucks..lol I also agree with what you said to Cindy..My Grandma passed away 15 yrs. ago and I think of her everyday. I can still taste her home cooking..You know, nobody cooks like Grandma! I am thankful to still have those memories..You don't let go, You hang on to what you have. It's what keeps you going, I think.

Yes Cindy she is in a much better place no more pain, sickness, or sorrow. Keep the faith, you will meet again. I lost my grandmother 17 years ago and not a single day passes I dont think about her. People say we have to let go but I totaly disagree, the memories I charish of her keep me sane in such an insane world.

Thank you Daniel. She is finally at peace and not suffering anymore. As much as I want her back/ I would never want to see her suffer another day.

rule number 1....never check anything of value where it's gonna be outta sight...EVER...no cameras, ipods or anything small that hose people can put their lil dick-skinners on....
keep anything you value in a carry-on.....ALWAYS....it's a tough lesson to learn....i feel for ya..
on the other hand....what a great story...bet you made her night...what a thoughtful thing to do...

well first off I am so glad that you both had this awesome experience. We were there in Vegas too. It was for sure a kick ass show.
As for Airlines they all suck!!! They don't care about us. Only about overcharging us as much as possible. We dealt with so much airline drama when my Mom got sick and passed away. My hubby had American Airlines on the phone for quite awhile over an issue and explained what we were going thru.. and they basically said.. too bad too sad.
So I will salute them like you did to AA haha
