I am H.S. English teacher using Staind as a relevant connection to J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye. My students are writing letters to both Staind and Salinger and the impact that Staind's lyrics and the novel have in their understanding of Holden Caufield. I would very much like to send my students' letters to Staind and Salinger to create meaning for their work. How would one go about such a task? This is not so much a rhetorical question as a literal one and I've been trying to figure it out. I would love to go to the concert and hand-deliver them on December 2nd, but perhaps that's unrealistic. If anyone has a thought on the matter, please let me know; my students and I would be very grateful. Music is education. Peace.

i think Aaron would really appreciate this. these are the reasons, he does what he does. i reccomend, if you wanna give them directly to Aaron so you can explain yourself what they're truly about, (depending on if you have tickets/m&g tix or not), that you wait near the busses at the end of the show. he usually always comes out for the fans. even if you dont have tickets to a Staind show near you.....show up, after the show is over present them to him yourself. i think this is awesome. i wish back in the cretacious period, my teachers did something as cool as this for us.....great job.

You should contact Lisa. She should be able to point you in the right direction.

Catcher In The Rye is a good book. I would actually pay attention in class if they gave us assignments like these. Take care,

Holden

i don't think it's unrealistic to hand the letters to staind the day you go to the concert...if you have the Meet & Greet tickets then you can do so...if not then i say contact Lisa from www.addictedtostaind.com
