Staind has parted ways with drummer Jon Wysocki

We wish him the best, and thank him for all the years he dedicated to Staind. Drummer Will Hunt will join us on our upcoming dates. We look forward to seeing you at Rock On The Range, the Miller Lite Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Rocklahoma.

very sad .... i know all the guys are smart, and did look at Jon as a brother ... so something must have been broke for them to fix it .... I hope one day we will all see you again Jon!!! You will always be Staind Family of course!

So I just got back from the 8 hour drive out to columbus for rock on the range (saw staind yesterday). When the drummer came out I looked at my boyfriend and was like WOW Jon dropped some pounds and grew his hair REALLY long. Then a close up of the drummer was shown on the big screen and I was like "That's NOT Jon!" I was confused and concerned. My boyfriend tried to comfort me saying maybe he was just sick and couldn't play this gig, but I came home to see this. very upsetting. I've met the band several times now and Jon has always been very kind. I hope everything works out. However I am not going to sugar coat things... seeing staind play yesterday PRIOR to hearing this news, I could tell something was up. It did not sound the same. On a happier note, the song they played off the new album absolutely rocks :)I do not want this to be the beginning of the end.
