Saratoga Springs NY concert was a BUST!!

WORDS OF WARNING - I paid almost $400 for 2 VIP meet and greet pit seat tickets and ended up missing half of the damn concert! I had to wait over two hours outside the concert for someone from Staind to bring out the VIP passes and missed the first 2 bands. I saw Sum 41 than had to leave again missing the next band and standing around for over an hour. The part that really sucked was that while me and 7 other people (who paid a lot of money) waited, Staind was busy meeting and greeting all the other concert goers! They paid as little as $30 for their tickets! Finally I got tired of waiting and REFUSED to miss another band so I left the waiting area without the meet and greet. I got to see Shinedown (which I would have missed) and Off Spring who put on an awesome show! Then I left before Staind came on, after that kind of treatment I don’t need to see them play. How rude.

Has anyone else had that kind of treatment?

"If they do "accually care about their fans" like you say than they should know that the people who wanted to see them most got the shit end of the stick this time."

This would have been a golden opportunity to tell them what you thought....they may have been understanding and done something special for ya's....just a thought...

Never had a problem like this...sorry to hear about how that went down...but like they said...Staind doesnt say no to anyone...they meet with everyone usually...cant speak for their management.....the worst thing I can remember was getting out inside the venue after the gates had opened, but we still got a great spot in the pit....what i dont understand is how it was so important to meet them, yet leave when they came on to play....believe me it's great meeting them for 15 to 20 minutes, but hearing them play for over an hour is heaven....but to each their own...I can understand your frustration....but dont always blame the band...because they can never make everyone happy....

the problem is, is Staind never say 'no' as a rule, so theyre happy to meet everyone if they can... the m&g are usually a 'secure' way of meeting them whereas any other way is by chance! i guess with a show with a long line-up, youre likely to miss someone as the m&g's are before the show....personally as long as i saw Staind play...AND got to meet them i would be very happy... plus you didnt miss Shinedown .... wouldve been my ideal show! However thats just my opinion... i guess they were filling time meeting other fans before they got to everyone else... (as they had a while before their set?) i guess you being gathered early was to make sure you didnt miss it. sucks you had a bad experience, but i would pay ten times as much to get the chance to see shinedown and staind together!

Well accually they did know what was going on. They were 10 feet away from us signing stuff for all the others. They looked right at us. And my boyfrind personally talked to their manager because he was there taking our names and the manager didn't care. And yes I have met them before, it was a good time. This time was horrible. If they do "accually care about their fans" like you say than they should know that the people who wanted to see them most got the shit end of the stick this time.

Not me! I have never had anything, but Good experiences at a Staind concert. Some of the best times of my life were seeing and meeting Staind. I don't know if you have ever met them, but they are Amazing people. It's not like they had anything to do with you missing anything. They were just doing what they were supposed to do. They would never intentionally let that happen to fans who paid for a Meet and Greet. They are not that kind of people. They actually care about their fans. That sucks that you didn't stay to see them play, because I am sure it was an Amazing show. I am sorry that happened to you, but trust me...Staind doesn't treat their fans that way. I guarantee you, they didn't know all that was going on.
