Ride for Dime, Dallas

Wow, what a show. After we did the 38 mile ride in the Texas heat we met up with Kimmie and Jereomy and went over to the bus and caught Aaron going backstage so he gave us both a quick hug and Kimmie asked him if we could visit with him after the show. We then got in and were standing front row center thru the whole show. There were a bunch of opening bands and then the All Star Jam. Aaron, Mike, Jon and a list of other guys played a couple of Pantera songs (they were AMAZING) each and we thought Aaron was done so we went out back to the bus again. When he saw us he asked if we were leaving and we told him we thought he was done. Nope-he had a couple more songs to sing. We hung out for about 30 minutes and then he brought us thru the backstage since they wouldn't let us back in the front and we got to see the rest of his performance from the side stage. As usual, Aaron and the rest of the band are always so friendly and give so much of their time to their fans. Luckily we will get to see Lo-Pro play at Trees on Wednesday and then Stimulate This on Thurs. What a week.

Aaron made it a night to remember.... being there in all that room of luv for Dimebag... it was very touching... Being in Dallas we get to see a lot of tributes to Dimebag here and there... but, this was all about Dime. The fact that Aaron was there being his wonderful, generous, fun self.. made it a night to remember. I hope Aaron comes back to Dallas every year for this event.... It was worth every penny... every drop of sweat... everything and anything.... thanks to Aaron... Ride for Dime... and RIP DIme... :D

OH!!! and it was so awesome meeting some more Staind Family Members... I met cousin Tiff... cousin Randy... cousin Scott.... and tonight cousin Carrie is supposed to be a Trees with all of us!

What a great week in Dallas.

We will def do this again next year. Hope Staind is there again. Aaron told us his ride was sweet (we were all the way in the back and there were hundreds of bikes) and he had an awesome ride.

During one part of the ride Aaron gunned his throttle and passed me by (I am always the lead bike), so Aaron actually led the Ride For Dime for about a 1/4 mile. Like the post says, their rendition of the Pantera songs were amazing. Big props to Aaron and all of the STAIND fans that came out and supported this years Ride For Dime. We will see you next year.
