Aaron- You dont me and I dont know you. But I have been a fan for 10 years. I have followed you to North Carolina shows, Springfield shows and Connecticut shows. My husband and I gave our first child the middle name of Aaron, after you, because we are inspired by your music. I went to the Mohegan show last night in high hopes of meeting you and getting an autograph. I actually left your show early to go stand in line because I thought that it was first come first serve. Not until I spoke to the people there that said there was a wristband rule, which was not posted ANYWHERE. SO I stood outside as my husband was inside at the concert. They said that the artist might sign autographs after the wristbands, but it is soley up to them. I dont understand why it wasnt advertised. But I had faith that you might sign a few more. I mean, your fans spend loads of time and money on you to make you reach your dreams. I bet there are many fans out there that dream of meeting you.. I guess I need some faith restored.. I dont want to think that you are one of those artists that only cares about the money and that gets mad if there are more then 100 cds that you have to sign for people. I want to believe that you arent like that. I understand that there were a lot of people there, but still. I think that I would have to be mad at the company that advertised your signing, because they did a HORRIBLE job. It was just disappointing to see you get up and walk away like you didnt care. You spoke at the show about the feeling of having a child and you dont know till you have one. Well, how would it feel to have that child named after someone and then feel this way? Dont know what else to say. I trule admire your music, but last night made me question a lot of things. There were a lot of pissed off people. Maybe you can tell me how to restore the faith.

It appears that some people here ( Eric) has forgotten that Aaron is a real life human being just like anyone else. If you knew him, in which I have the prvileage, you would know that he is a regular guy who puts his pants on like everyone else. Cut the guy some slack and stop acting like he OWES YOU. He is where is he because he is talented and is a likeable guy. Those that are in the know see this....

Before everyone strats blaming anyone about the signing its wasnt anyones fault besides yours because they had this advertised 2 weeks prior to the concert and advertise he was just signing the cds that were sold that night and it changed that day of the concert because his managment came to sighting and signing 3 hours prior to the concert and hand them 100 wrist bands the wrist bands were a definite signing and if not the told everyone before purchasing the cds left over that you might not get to meet him so blame yourself for your stupity and not ask questions because there were huge signs all over the shops explaning things. By the Aaron awsome concert you f*****g rock! and thanks for taking the pic and signing our cds cant wait till your next concert.

Hi all, I really have to comment on the meet and greet subject. I love meeting artists and getting autographs and photo's and such HOWEVER just for a moment imagine you are living that life, on the road all the time, basically your home is on wheels, no privacy to go to the bathroom or shower. I travel a couple of times a year home to see my family which is only a 12 hr drive and by the time I get there I am done with this driving mess. Granted a bus is larger and roomier than my truck but still. Anyway after all the traveling each day you have to entertain thousands of people whether you are feeling well or have a pounding headache, you still have to perform. Then on top of that try signing your name a 100 times and probably even more on most days. Talk about major hand cramps!
Anyway I went to a show a couple of weeks ago, great show however 1 of the bands (not saying which 1) didn't say boo to the fans. I am not even talking about meet and greets, I am talking about on stage, just went up there did their thing and left and that was that. So really if an artist says thank you for coming I am happy. Would I love to meet Staind and give Aaron Lewis a big fat juicy kiss and a warm hug? Hell yeah BUT I am not going to feel betrayed because I didn't get to. Now if I paid the $175 per ticket for a meet and greet then maybe I'd get upset if I didn't get to but otherwise..... I am just THRILLED they are finally going to be in Michigan because I've never gotten to see them before!!!

My advice is if you hope to meet any celebrity, don't wait in their backyard.Moheban Sun Casino is about 75 minutes from Springfield Mass.Stainds roots. So a local show like that is apt to bring out family members, old friends etc. When anyone has been away from home its always nice to see a familiar face.He did sign though, right??No one wants to be the one were the line stops but it happens all the time.I'm sure if you saw them on the road farther from home the experience would be different.I've been listening to R&R for over 40 years.Had to put up with the Disco era New Wave and now rap.Enjoy the fact threre is a few good bands out there still.Staind is definitely one of them.If not getting an autograph or hearing the song you wanted to hear live makes you want to toss their CD's,you missed the point. My advice is go put on one of your favorite tracks.crank up the volume and enjoy the music.Everything else is a plus.Isn't that why you started listening to it in the first place?????

Shit goes wrong... humans are HUMAN. Quite freakin complaining people, seriously. Sure, feel dissapointed but Erik to say "Staind lost a HUGE fan.." well you couldn't of been that big of a fan to begin with.
I can't believe how much people complain, whine and moan. Jesus!

I don't know anything about this meet and greet, but from everything I've read, and all the 2nd hand hand meetings with Aaron that I'm aware of, He is a great person, and adores his fans, and dos NOT take us for granted! Sounds to me like some of you need not be so self-absorbed!

I never said that I was going to drop Staind. Why would I drop a band whose music has inspired me? I was just trying to figure out what happened that night. But I never said I was dropping the band.

So you are ready to just drop a band you have been following for 10 years over this? U all know the song: F**K U TO THE JADED AND FAKE!
