well here it is the last day of the tour - one more show tonight. i just want to thank everyone who was able to come to a show and check it out - we really appreciate it. actually winding down touring for this year. we get about a week off then out for a month with creed and then we'll be done for a bit. it's really been a great tour - great bands, great shows and some really great audiences.

one of the highlights that stand out for me was being able to play the ride for dime benefit in dallas a couple of weeks ago. let me tell you though it was really nerve wracking and a lot of work. i ended up playing guitar on "walk", "cowboys from hell" and "this love". it's funny - when they asked us if we wanted to play the benefit they asked which pantera songs we knew and i knew how to play "im broken" and "this love". of course i get "walk" and "cowboys from hell". needless to say i spent a few days having to learn them. it gave me a whole new respect for just how great dime was on guitar. i always knew it but i wanted to play the songs like he recorded them. i spent a lot of time trying to get it like the record and there are some really challenging parts there. also, it was so much fun to play it live!! it was also great to be able to play with corey from slipknot and tim from soil. they're both really talented musician's. it was fun to be able to hang out and talk guitar with some of the other guys on the bill also - doc from god forbid and phil from machine head. good day. i'd be lying if i said i wan't happy once the set was over though. i was a bit nervous seeing as we hadn't played "walk"ever as that line up and only ran through "cowboys" once. it came off alright - couple of minor hiccups (as im sure you can see on youtube) but all in all we made it through. it's really cool that people came out to support dime - he really was one of the best!!! people and musician. it's really important to remember him and the tragedy that happened 5 years ago. we miss ya dime!!

Mike, I agree. Dallas was lucky to have you guys three times in a week. Seeing everyone at Tree's for Lo-Pro was awesome. I didn't get to RideforDime, but I have friends who stood beside the stage and said it was amazing. I'm so sad I missed it. I got a chance to talk to you at the radio station m&g w/ Aaron, and asked about "this love" at the show that evening, I was blown away. Your amazing... And for all the shit talkers that say Aaron is "loosing" his voice, they just needed to be in the audience for RideforDime and the Stimulate This show. Amazing.. Keep up the good work!

Mike, it was amazing so see you play in Toledo...watching you play at times defys gravity and musical sensibility. When combined with this beautiful guitar...time seemed to stand still. You seemed to make it talk to the crowd, if that is possible....you are a gifted artist. Take Care

Dime is great, Mike you are to me what Dimebag is to you. In a world of jaded musicians you chose to make an affordable signature guitar for a working man and not dress up like an EMO chick !
