hey, what's going on everybody?? im here in sault ste. marie, mi with a day off. we had a really good weekend - just did 4 in a row and was able to watch the red sox sweep the yankee's. the shows have been fun so far - we play again tomorrow and get home for a few days next week. thank god i don't gamble or i probably wouldn't have a house now. we've been playing casinos and i just never win so i've been good as far as staying away from it. not even the gratuitous 20 bucks and see how long it lasts. for me, i know that wouldn't be long.
we were lucky enough to be home all of march and it was awesome to be able to spend some time with the family! it was cool because i got to be home for my birthday and for opening day at fenway. it's funny - i always try to make opening day if im not on the road and i was home this year. we were on our way up to the park and it was like 40 degrees out and raining. it was only when we pulled to boston that we found out the game has been postponed till the next day. we were already there so we grabbed a couple of beers and some lunch and went back home…drove back out the next day and had a blast. it was a great day and the sox won! i have to say - they've won every opening day i've been to - im not saying but im just saying...
it's pretty much a great time to be a new england sports fan right now - celtics are in the playoffs, bruins just beat the canadians and the red sox just swept the yankee's. we'll see how the celtics make out but the bruins look great and so do the sox. i know... it's only april but it's good to be winning in april.
we're pretty much out playing casinos and some other shows through the 3rd week in may or so before we head back to europe in june for some summer festivals. some of these shows might be good for some fans that haven't seen us in a while, or even ever, because we haven't been to a lot of these places before. that usually makes for a really good show which is what we've been experiencing. hopefully we get a chance to see you guys out here. talk soon.

Should come to Lake George NY for Americade. Not sure if you ride but you can ride on the back of my Harley anytime! Nothing like a bike ride to clear the mind.

Thanks Mike for keeping us updated. I was also pumped to see the Red Sox sweep the Yankees.....and although I am a bit disappointed about the Bruins, I am keeping my fingers crossed about Sundays Celtics game. What a great couple of months for us New Englanders is right! Take care......cannot wait to see you in July when you come back home!

I went to the show in Mt. Pleasant. I won $100 on blackjack and spent it all on beer. It was my first Staind show and I wont miss the next one that comes to MI. So Please.... Come back. And i am curios about what song Aaron was going to sing without an amp? Was it the Secret song off Dysfunction or Tangled up in you? Finaly I want to add That You are a bad ass MIke.

I took my 15 year old son to his first concert ever to see Staind in Mt pleasant , MI. I was really sad when Aaron left the stage after not being able to quiet the crowd enough for an off mike song. I am an old Mom, used to Led Zep ect concerts, this one was pretty great. Son enjoyed it. I also felt bad for all the angst in the songs, I love my kids so much I cannot imagine some of the heartache in the songs. Poor child. Thank you band for a lovely evening and memory.
