Breaking News: Custom Seven-String PRS Guitair Stolen from Staind Guitarist Mike Mushok

Staind guitarist Mike Mushok, one of the best musicians in hard rock and nicest guys out there, has become the victim of serious theft. A custom-made seven-string Paul Reed Smith [PRS] Amber Burst guitar was stolen from Mushok. The crime allegedly took place in Little Rock, AR at River Fest 2012 at The Clinton Presidential Center last night, Friday May 25, 2012.

The guitar is very close to Mushok's heart as it's one of only two in existence, and it's a crucial element of the band's current live show.

Mike is only requesting the guitar be returned. If found please contact Mikeprs1@yahoo.com.

I'm a huge fan of yours, and my little brother/guitarist looks up to you a lot, man. You're an amazing musician, but also a great guy with an inspiring character. I love your enthusiasm for playing music and your strong positivity. I was at the show last night. It was amazing, but yeah. You're in my thoughts/prayers, and I hope the idiot(s) pay the price for taking something from such a great, well-rounded guy. -Hope it didn't make Arkansans as a whole look bad. I was so glad to see you guys back in the Rock. It was a long-waited opportunity of mine, and I had some of the most fun I've ever had (front of the crowd: center, of course). Good luck, Mike. PRS = Paul Reed Smith, type of guitar missing

1 = Someone else named Mike who likes PRS guitars or is in some sort of Public Relation Services made a yahoo e-mail so they had to add that dreaded number.

I'm thinkin' they made an e-mail specifically for this reason and Mike isn't putting out his personal e-mail for every fan to pen-pal it up.
