hey there, just checkin in to let you know how the week's been. it's been hectic!!! we flew in to minneapolis late last wednesday night to hook up with the 3dd tour and everyone was beat!!! pretty hectic in ny and glad to back out on the road doing some shows. minneapolis was great!! we played the state fair there where you can get anything on a stick. you name it... spaghetti and meatballs, pb & j, pork chops, anything. the big seller this year (i guess) was chocolate covered bacon!!! does that even sound good?? it sounds like you'd need an ambulance after eating it. at least the show was fun!! from there we had a HELL ride!!! we drove to calgary, canada and were on the bus for 25 hours!!! that was a tough one!! we spent 3 hours at the border at 7am trying to get into the country - fun, fun, fun!!

the canadian show's have been good. edmonton was a great show!! the ride to vancouver wasn't so good. we were traveling edmonton to vancouver and again, it was a long one - supposed to be 14 hours. well, 14 turned into about 19 when aaron's bus blew up. alright, it didn't really blow up but we had just stopped for breakfast around 9 am and got back on the road. as we were driving down the highway a ton of smoke started pouring out of the back of aaron's bus and liqui d was dripping all over the place. there was really no place to pull over but we did our best to get on the side of the road. it turns out that a belt broke and sheared off the bolts to some kind of mount that went into the radiator fan and radiator itself. we spent about 2 hours there unloading his bus onto ours and the crew bus and waiting for a tow truck. again, fun, fun, fun!!! it's all good though - no one was hurt and we finally got to vancouver after 2 traffic jams that took forever!! i swear those rides kill me. i know i shouldn't complain but they are tough - u just feel like crap after them. however, we're here in vancouver tonight and im sure it'll be a great show - we've played here a couple of times and it's a beautiful city (it is pouring right now) and a lot of fun. off to seattle this evening with another border crossing so we can play in seattle tomorrow. we then fly in to la to do the jimmy kimmel show on thursday. that should be fun.

the tour's winding down and it's been a good one. looking foreword to europe with nickelback and the headlining run this fall with seether and papa roach. should be a good. alrighty, i'll check back soon - be well!!

Hey guys, I'm going to be at the Konocti concert on saturday. It is my sons 13th birthday. I just bought the new CD. I love you guys so much. I saw you a few years ago at sleeptrain near Sac. That's closer to where I live then Konocti. You have been my favorite band ever since about 99. It's good to see you are finally getting the recognition you deserve. I don't even know what to say that you aren't hearing from everyone else. Your lyrics capture my emotions like nothing else. This new CD just might be you best yet and I didn't think I would ever say that. Amazing guitar. We can't wait to see you. Thank you.

Hello from BC! I was at the Vancouver show last night and I wanted to thank you guys. You stole the show as far as I'm concerned. I wish I was eloquent enough to put into words how incredibly moved I was by your set. Somehow (considering your travel issues!) you brought an intensity and depth to the stage and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed (and appreciated) it! Your lyrics are intelligent and sweet and I loved how you can go from such heavy riffs to such sweet acoustic sounds with what appears to be no effort at all!
Thanks again and come back soon ..(we may not be able to tempt you with chocolate covered bacon on a stick though :P)
