well, it's finally here. august 19th. today's the day the album comes out and everyone who wants to hear it get's to. pretty exciting. we're in ny for a few days doing some press and i know that after my guitar world interview / photo shoot this afternoon i'll be heading out to buy my copy of the record. it's pretty much a tradition for me - the day our record comes out i go to the store and buy a copy of it. i don't open it but just save it. it feels good after all the hard work that went into making this record to know that it's finally done and everyone can hear it.


we actually just got back from doing the howard stern show this morning. it was pretty funny - we had to learn a bunch of cover tunes and be the house band for a karaoke contest. i can't believe we had to learn a cher song!!!! it was fun though - always fun being on howards show. we also got to play an acoustic version of "believe". big show tonight at the hard rock and then some more press tomorrow before we head out to hook back up with 3dd to continue the tour.



anyhoo, just thought i'd check in and let everyone know that today's the day. hope you all like the record and hopefully we'll see ya on the road.
