How did you get into Staind's music or first hear of them?
They're a local band.... I remember one day a friend of mine named Phil walked into school (6th grade.... 1998) talking about this band named Staind. I remember thinking they were like.. death meta...

TIOP. Love the atmosphere behind the TIOP album. In terms of the grittier and heavier music, BTC is by far my favorite "heavier" sounding album.

I wanted to go to the boston show and CT show but we sprung for vip's and at $175 a pop the 2nd show was out of the question but it was def. a great show. I'll only buy tickets to see Staind and if I see other bands it's only cuz they're with Staind. It's like when I go out to eat. I usually stick to what I know is good cuz i hate to pay for something I don't like. With Staind I always know what I'm gettin... A KICK ASS SHOW!!! yea i'm on fb Jenny Gagan

Cindy said… - Sadly in North Carolina.. I have to work. Seems I work every dang holiday anymore. I want so badly to go home to Iowa for the holidays this year but know it just won't happen. My grandson will be turning a year old just before Christmas and my youngest brother and his wife had a baby awhile back and I haven't got to hold little Sam yet. So many reasons to go but just can't afford it and can't get time off work. : (
Am off tomorrow for NYC for the Hammerstein Staind show I can't wait!!! though it looks like it's gonna be freezing up there. lol

I actually really like the whole site, except for the "board." It is NO board, but a lame arsed wall (like on Facebook) w/no way to seemingly organize "discussions" (threads).
And, I'm sure the old board WILL be gone eventually. I just hope they're smart enough to archive it, since despite all our spam, we DO have years worth of info on there (like set show dates, set lists, info on the guys, songs, etc.).
