I have been a fan of Staind for about 10 years or so. This band has helped me in ways that I could never explain. The way they make me feel, when I listen to them, is unreal. I have been so lucky to have made some amazing friends through this band. I haven't been lucky enough to have met them all, but I feel like I have known them forever. One year ago, today..

So, It has been one year ago, today. It still hasn't sunk in, yet. January 23, 2008 was a day, I will never forget. It is the day that I lost my stepbrother, Andy. He passed away from an overdose of Oxycodone and Xanax. He was 24 years old. I didn't even know that he took pills. I can't believe it. I don't understand why you would trade your life for a handful of pills. It makes me so mad, and I can't even yell at him, because he is gone, now..Forever. I met STAIND in INDY!

Last night, I met Staind. It was amazing! I can't believe I won the tickets off Myspace! I was so sad that I didn't have the money for tickets and next thing you know, I'm on Staind's guest list! Aaron was so nice to us. He even stayed in the room after the rest of the band left. He signed all our pictures and took more pics with us. It literally brought me to tears.
