About Me
I am a postal worker but a photographer on the side, I love to listen to music while I am working and 99.9% of the time it's Staind even though I've listened to the songs thousands of times, they just speak to me. I spend my off time reading and taking photographs or watching tv while I am on the internet, yes I even sometimes read, watch tv and surf the internet.
Ever seen Staind live?
Yes, FINALLY. 5/2/09 Mt Pleasant Michigan

Sennie, yeah, you were definitely side stage, but looks like you maneuvered yourself for a good view. We were on the other side, back in L3, but in first row there so our 7 yr. old had a good view! We loved the show. Again, 2nd time seeing them, and got to see a full set this time. I wish we could have ran into you! I actually thought of carrying a sign that said "Sennie" but didn't want to embarrass you (or myself). I hope your daughter + boyfriend had fun also. I will look for your myspace. You can check out our pics from our entire stay at Soaring Eagle on my facebook. I'm not sure how you find someone on there, but if you wanna give me your email I'll figure it from there. By the way, remember at the end, Aaron was gonna sing a song if everyone was quiet, then didn't? I read he's been doing that all tour, and hasn't been able to sing a song unplugged yet. Hard to get 1000+ mostly drunk people silent. Talk soon, and good luck with the remodeling! -Ron

Sennie, Hi! Hadn't realized you'd written since I've not been on site lately. Checking more on Staind.com now that their shows are starting up soon. You don't have to explain to me about costs of tickets, etc. I know. Like you, we have one daughter totally into it, and one that isn't. Cool that you have a daughter in a band, though! My wife and I did just splurge for AC/DC tickets in GR in August. A very tough ticket to get, had to settle for upper deck, but I've listened to AC/DC nearly all my life, figured it was time to see them before it was too late. Feel the same about Aerosmith, especially since they've still got all the original members. Hey, I think it's alright about your daughter and her family moving in, if you think you can take it! I can't ever really picture my girls moving out, to be honest. Breaks my heart to think about it. Hey you take care, write when you can and hope to meet you at the show! -Ron

Sennie, so hubby doesn't like Seether's dead babies on a mic stand, huh? Tell him to get tough! Ha! But yeah, I agree with him, it is a bit strange. How cool you were at the GR show. We were actually told by a friend before the show what to expect from Seether's singer, that he keeps to himself, so we weren't surprised. Our families should meet and say "hi" in Mt. Pleasant! It's cool that your 16 yr. old will go with you to shows. Our 7 yr. old is already building quite a concert resume: John Fogerty, Willie Nelson, Modest Mouse, 3DD, Staind, FingerEleven, Seether, etc.,I didn't see my first show until I was 13: Kiss/Cheap Trick at the Pontiac Silverdome in 1979! My wife is 10 yrs. younger than me, so our tastes in music differ, but you and I probably grew up loving the same bands. My first album ever was Bay City Rollers! Most people my age I know have turned to country. Hope all is well with you guys today, -Ron

Hey, Sennie, you and I are the same age! When will we be too old for this rock business? Ha! Never, right? I'll be attending the Mt. Pleasant show with my wife and 7 yr. old daughter. Your seats sound fantastic! I wasn't even given the option for front section seats. By the way, we saw Staind with 3 Doors Down this past summer, and caught Hoobastank with 3DD just last month in Grand Rapids. I too am not a big Hoobastank fan, but they did put on a decent show. We'll look for you in May! We're staying that night at the Casino. -Ron Miller
