About Me: I am a 29 yr old father of 4 boys from Vinton,IA. I was a dad at 15, married and divorced by the age 18. Married again and stuck through some pretty bad verbal and physical abuse for about 8 yrs, divorced again, Then met someone that told me they wanted everything that I wanted. She got pregnent then left me. My world fell apart.

Last year at the end of August, I met yet another. We have been living together ever since. She is everything to me. We go everywhere together, we are never apart. On Christmas I asked her to marry me, and she said yes. She has accepted me for who I am, and has taken my 4 sons in like they are her own.

Everytime I hear the song "Tangled up in you", I cry. Some sad tears, some happy tears. Some tears of hesitation, some tears of anticipation. This song, is me down to a "T". I have had a pretty rough life. Drugs, being a father at a young age, unemployed and homeless. You name it, I been through it. But this 1 girl, an Angel sent from the Heavens above, has saved my life. Alaina Renea Clary.

I will marry her hopefully yet this year. It would be the ultimate gift, if I could have Aaron Lewis and Staind perform this song during my wedding ceremony.

Ever seen Staind live?: I have not yet seen Staind live. The fact that I am so busy with my sons, and money is tight, is what has stopped me from seeing them. Like I said, never seeing them, the ultimate first time of seeing them would be during my wedding ceremony.

First of all, I would like to say hi to everyone. I am here, writing this blog, a blog of my feelings, the feelings of a beaten and tattered father. I don't really know where else to go. I have some things I need to get off my chest, and felt like this may be a place to start.

My hubby and I have been together for 22 years (since I was 18 and he was 29) and "they", whoever the f%^& they are, said that we wouldn't last, well here we are with 22 years under our belts and two gorgeous kids together! Keep the faith man things will work out the way that they are supposed to. I truly believe that! Our life together has not always been easy but we have perservered and you can too!! Good Luck!
