This seems So Far Away..but of course I've been thinking about who the full tour is going to be with when they come back to the states. I heard today that it might be Cold. I personally would love that...I saw them tour together before and it was amazing. But I also loved the Shinedown/Halestorm tour. Halestorm has a new album coming out and theyre on the same label so I thought that might be a possibility too.

Who else do you guys want to see the band tour with?

I was just on cold's facebook a few minutes ago and Justin made an announcement that Cold isn't doing a full blown tour starting in the fall like they had planned- they are doing some casino gigs then in early 2012 starting on a big tour. Justin also said: "The other piece of good news I can share is that when the full touring starts up again in early '12 Cold will be on the road with a pretty big band that may surprise a lot of you". I would LOVE LOVE LOVE for the surprise to be that they are touring with staind!

I also liked when they toured with seether. I vote for seether again too.

Wow - great thread, Amanda. I don't know much about record label politics - is it restricted to bands on the same label? I've been getting into Cold a bit lately ... I know they've toured together before, but I would love to see them together. Shinedown is a cut above the rest of modern rock, too ...

... man, I just want to see a Staind concert again!! The last time I saw them, the opening act was not at all impressive (not gonna name names :) - that band could just have had a bad night).

Well there aren't too many bands who stack up to staind live. Youre def right about shinedown. That was one of the best tours ever...stimulate this, I hate to use this word...but the fourth of july show on that tour was epic. Amazing performances by all the bands. As close to perfect as a lineup has gotten for me.

How likely do you think it is that there will be a US Tour?

I would choose Limp Bizkit. Their new albums is dope. Im sure many of you would disagree, but LB and Staind together would be awesome. Fred is great at getting the crowd going.

Theyve said numerous times there would be a full US tour next spring/summer. :) They are going to tour the UK next then aaron will do his solo stuff during the winter, I believe. Then the US tour will kick off.

I don't think there is a support act for the uk tour BUT i would be stoked if it was cold!
It's too bad Breaking Benjamin broke up; they were phenomenal openers for Staind on the 3DD/Staind/BB tour.
They didn't. Ben fired Aaron and Mark.

Aaron & Mark... aka half the band! lol
Agreed!  That was definitely one of their best touring lineups imo!  Soil was also on it for part of it, too.  The Electric factory show in Philly w/that lineup was as close to perfection as a show could get!!!  I'm so glad the weather was so bad they had to chage the venue to the Electric Factory that night!

On a side note, if Scooter and Aaron could get along enough to do "Bleed" together on tour, that would make another Staind/Cold pairing worth it for me!

If this was the year 2005, I'd totally agree with you on the Cold pairing Raina! I have to say..... their new stuff just isn't doing anything for me. That song "Wicked World" is amazing, and then the rest of the album essentially is a flatliner. It didn't impress me at all. But who knows, I don't think they're playing much stuff from their new album on their current touring cycle anyways, so maybe I do agree with you! haha

Yeah, we had Jet Black Stare open for Breaking Benjamin, who opened for Staind, who opened for 3DD. JBS were pretty damn good. Good enough that I ended up buying their album.

So wait, do Aaron & Scooter not get along now??  I had no idea.

Well, I'm not the biggest Cold fan, but as I said, just that one song done together would make the repairing worth it to me. ;)

And, Idk what (if anything) may have transpired between the two, but neither seem to be too fond of eachother anymore.
