While you are in between albums, I wish you would remake Tormented and rerelease it. That would kick so much ass.I tried to get it online , but I just can't afford it. People want hundreds of dollars for it. If I had the money I would gladly pay it, but I'm just a ruffneck carpenter. Just thought I'd throw it out there. Anyway, yall are the greatest band ever, hope you don't ever stop.

thats crazy lol..listen to them on youtube or something lol
i'd burn you a copy
I got my copy at a Staind concert for $10.00 back in 2005....Staind was headlining Mayday in Indianapolis that year so it was nice to be able to see them and better yet, to get my hands on the coveted 'tormented' cd....I was lucky in the aspect that I had a friend (his name was James, I think) in the Springfield, mass. area and he happened to be a HUGE fan of Staind before anyone outside of the area knew who they were and he got an ORIGINAL copy of Tormented when it first came out back when they were just starting out....And he used to play mudshovel and some other songs off it for me online, and I was like holy shit!! who are these guys?? they're fucking awesome!! and I fell instantly head over heels in love with them ever since I heard Aaron's voice!! So I guess u could consider me one of the 'original' old school fans even though I didn't live in the springfield area. Even if I did live in that area, I still wouldn't have been old enough to get into any bars or places that you could get into when u were 18 that they were playing, unless it was an all ages show, because I was only 16 or 17, I think.....I'm not fully awake yet, so I'm not in the mood to do math and figure out exactly how old I was back then... lol, but I'm gonna be 31 in August if anyone wants to know how old I am. I'm glad that I've made friends with several of the local bands, a few of them have gotten pretty big now (around my area) and they are well known around "tha region", aka NW indiana and the Chicagoland area... Nerve Damage, Munroe, S!ckfrown, Signal, David Costa, Know Lyfe... those are just a few of the more popular bands in the area, there are tons more that I can name.... some have played alongside national bands and opened for them. Signal has opened Staind on one of thier jaegermeister dates back in 2006. I think it was the Chicago date. I can imagine how awesome it must be to know Staind before they got HUGE and were just starting out. I LOVE meeting all these bands and the interesting fans I meet along the way. STAIND is my fave band, and that's that....I can listen to Aaron sing all day, and also listen to anything by Staind and not get tired of it!! Same with Nerve Damage....

:-D

I find it crazy how much people are buying/selling Tormented for... it was only a few years ago (three years I think?) that the CD was going for 9.99 on an independent Staind store website (don't remember the exact URL). Damn, I would have stocked up if I knew how much people would be willing to dish out for it now.... haha
I bought it for myself for christmas... $75 plus shipping. It was worth every penny! and I'm a broke college student. But yeah it's a great album deffinately worth re-releasing.
i think that would fall into that "one step back" catagory aaron's been trying to avoid for years now. you can get "Tormented" at a Staind show, for $10. i bought mine back in 1997 for $11.99. that "hundreds of dollars" ploy from sellers, is absoultly beserk to me.
I got the Tormented cd for 10 bucks :] They have been selling it at concerts
Hey,

You are so right! I was just about to post a discussion like this last week - funny.

It would be so cool if Staind made a re-recorded and re-mixed Tormented! The sound (specially the guitars) is not that great, and I think it's obvious that this album was "home made". With some pro sound editing this album could become killer! :D
I agree, Jess..They might as well keep going forward. I used to have it, but someone stole it, among many other things of mine. It is a great CD and I would LOVE to have it, again..But, I can't afford those prices.

I saw them in '05 and they didn't have it for sale then. I did get a kick ass T-shirt though. lol
initally when they first started, they sold them at the merch booth then stopped. i think they started reselling them again in like '07 or '08 because of it's demand.
