Yeah, I found mine at a second spin in California.
i bought 2 off of ebay 10 yrs ago, but all i see anymore is the 2004 release and people selling them for 2 and 300 a piece so it kinda makes me wounder what the 1996 release is worth, and why do they keep rerelaseing it
How do you tell the difference between the 1996 and the 2004 release?

first staind album i ever bought was an original copy of tormented off ebay. def my favorite album which i hope to get signed one day to complete my collection. look at the copyright on the back. should say 1996 with some label youve never heard of.

only 4,000 released
i have 2 copys one opened and the other unopened that i hope to get signed one day. the record label was yap'em
Yes, I got mine off Staind.com.  It's an awesome cd.
Not to make people mad but I bought mine off Staind.com when they re released with it with the whole band signing it. I don't know how many copies were made but I haven't seen one anywhere for sale that's been sign by the whole band.
yeah... i feel like there was a re-release before 2004 though because i remember getting it not long after break the cycle came out.. bought off of staind's artist direct store.

I know this is a severe case of thread revival, but I too have this signed copy of Tormented that you mention below.  It states that it is a 1996 Yap'em release.  Wonder how many of these are out there?  I have to think it can't be many because Steve is the only person I have seen mention it in many years.

Also to what CMiller05 said above, the ORIGINAL release is in fact different.  I have a copy of it and it does have all of the differences he mentioned above.  Pretty sweet version of a RARE disc.

I have been a Staind fan since I first heard Mudshovel on the radio before the Dysfunction album came out in 99, and still support their music today even though some feel Staind have "sold out".  I just see it as a progression of their music with their age...  you must remember Aaron is no longer a pissed off 20-something full of angst, he's a Daddy now.  And being a Daddy now with 2 daughters of my own, you look at life a lot differently.

I forgot to mention, I also posted about the autographed version of Tormented I bought from staind.com a few years ago, but no one responded.  See below.  It would be cool to know how many on here have this disc.

I understand progression and I get they are getting older and a
A fan irraguardles of what they play, they haven't sold, the truest thing I've ever heard come out of the music business is when Aaron lewis said that to be successful in the music business u have some how sold out, and aaron Lewis I love him he is the most talented man alive he can cover anything and make it sound good, and I'm not the biggest fan of the country thing but I guess if it's what he wants to do, but he has kinda sold out in the country music business, a man that has wrote every staind song is letting someone else write songs on his country album, I have 2 copies of the 1996 mint, one I have in my cd case and one that's never been opened I would love to find the original cd one day unopened but that's pretty unlikely
