Love the album, all the songs are decent... but nothing seems to be JUMPING at me!! All the other albums seem to have a few tracks each that really capture me, but not this one...
Anyone else feeling me? If not, what songs are grabbing you??

Prolly Break Away, and Way I Am. The album was a bit of a disappointment @ first, but has slowly crept in...

I do agree though, there was not one particular song that reached out and grabbed me by the nuts.

Pardon Me was not really a fave, until I heard it live acoustic at an Aaron show. Now I hear it differently and it means more to me.
Something Like Me.

Not sure if that counts, but ever since the first time I've heard that song (both AL live & studio) I've gotten chills every time the chorus seeps in.

But in terms of studio tracks? Rainy Day Parade was the one that grabbed me by the nuts, as x put it, but eventually.. ironically enough, all of the "hits" were the ones that grabbed me by the nuts... Believe, All I Want, The Way I Am, This Is It... and Rainy Day Parade & Break Away really have been the stellar tracks that have grabbed my attention since the album's release.
I love all the songs. The first one to really hit me though was Raining Again, especially with Mike's solo and everything.
Took me some time, but now I love the album. All I want was the first one that hit me. Pardon me and tangled up in you, love it!
I'm with E rock on this one, although i think i liked this album a little before i thought i would, the first time i heard raining again i thought it was one of the best, most complete, songs staind has ever written.
Really liking what I've heard so far.. So excited to see the band with Chevelle, this fall, too. Just got my Chevelle pre-order in today-

Hi Jobo! I have to say, I LOVE this album! I love all of them actually, but yeah, there r several songs in this one that capture me, such as Save me, Break away, the Corner, This Is It.... actually, if I keep writing the ones I love I'll have written every song! lol. I'm really surprised that there r people who don't feel it, but then I guess that's the thing, we're all completely different with completely different experiences & maybe thats why I feel this one & u don't... :)
I actually believe this is Staind's best album so far BECAUSE no song truly jumps out. That's just it there's no filler songs on the cd at all instead of several great songs and the rest average to good songs every single song on this album is very good.

:) wot i do is, i put the album(or just a song) on repeat, and just listen to them and you'll realize how much you're missing (for Staind at least)

to be honest when I first got the cd i felt the same way, but the more i listen to it the more i realize how great this album is, for example Rainy Day Parade builds up to about 2:51 then it explodes in my face, and I thought I heard the highlight of the song at about 3:18 and already satisfied with it... the song suddenly jump to full throttle and release its true power! and it's like OMG THIS SONG IS TOO GOOD I CANT HANDLE IT (#)@*$*$(#@(#$@)##!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and then after the song i had to change my pants.. :)

There's just so much going on in Aaron's voice!

ohoh :) the first song that jumped on me's gotta be The Corner, i remember After listening through the song for the first time i was like speechless then i was like 'whoa.....' and i had to change my pants.. x)

hahahahahaha

hahaha

ha

.........WTF?!
Hahaha..... Lefty..... I had no idea if that guy was a troll or being serious or not, but I figured I'd better not even ask...... don't ask a question if you fear the answer!
Wow, someone else had to change their pants too after they heard the song. Damn, thought I was the only one.
Hi. How is everyone?
