So for the last few days I've been working on a t shirt that I'm going to wear to an upcoming show. I have a basic idea of what I want to do with it, but I could use a lot more! It's a black t shirt that I've cut kat von d style and I got some cool fabric with some grey in it to put on it. If I can figure it out, I'm going to put a picture that I took at my first show on the back. Id really like to add more to it, but I'm kind of out of ideas. If anyone has any ideas about what I could write or put on it I'd really appretiate it! (and WITH what, if you have any ideas) I have some ribbon, some puffy paint (that I havent really decided whether or not to use) the fabric, some printable iron-on paper, and thats about all I've used so far. I thought about writing staind on it somewhere with the puffy paint, but its hard to work with and I'm kind of a perfectionist. One thing you should know is that I do not own a sewing machine, so no MAJOR sewing can be involved. Let me know if you have any suggestions! Thanks to all!
PS, has anyone else ever done this?

ive made my own, but with just an iron on patch. the puffy paint idea seems sloppy and for the younger generation. for $24 online you can get an official kick ass shirt!
I like that you decided to use your art skills and create something unique instead of just buying one. I make hats , shirts and pants all the time. Sometimes i just grab a sharpie, it's so smooth. but doesn't last long in the wash.

Painters markers, paint markers are good. I would paint or print lyrics from a song u like or the city when u saw them, something personal. They make iron on printouts u can print at home then iron on but it has a sort of film on it that u might not like, and not that well on black. . Stretch the fabric tight if u paint on it, use cardboard behind it. Silkscreen paint.
I actually went hunting for a shirt at hot topic and spencers. I know hot topic used to have staind shirts, but no more, apparently. One of the hurdles is that I don't own a credit or debit card. I looked into picking up a prepaid, but I have to pay an outragous (in my opinion) amount just to load money on it, and then, I have to pay to use it. I'm kind of fund limited, so I thought I'd make my own for now. I got the t-shirt at jo-ann fabrics for 1.75. Can't beat that! I know they sell apperal after the show, but I'd like to have one for the show. I agree on the puffy paint thing, which is why I'm holding off on using it. I did look into fabric markers, but i tested them out, and they didnt show up on the black. I didnt even think about paint markers. The printable iron-on transfer paper I bought is supposed to be especially for black fabric, but i dot have any prior experiance using it, so I'm not sure. The sharpie thing brings me back! I used to write all over my jeans when I was in high school. Haha, I remember my mom being so pissed. Thanks guys!
So, I've totally decided to write TEAM LEWIS on the back of my shirt! haha, inspiration has found me!!!!
