Staind Toronto Show Dec 8th Cancelled!
Ok, so I'm wondering why no one bothered to update this site to let people know that the concert was canceled at the last minute. The only place I can find that tells you is Edge Radio's website. http://www.edge.ca/Channels//Reg/NewRockNews/Story.aspx?ID=1044705.

I completely understand and empathize w/that, Jay. For the record, though, I personally didn't call anyone names and was not referring to ALL that expressed their disappointment, hun. Just the ones that called them unprofessional for actually doing the professional thing, and those few who said disrespectful, unappreciative stuff due to their quite righteous anger and disappointment. As you know, and as I stated, you ALL have every right to be angry and disappointed. Imo, some just expressed it VERY poorly. And, you weren't one of them, Jay. You know I feel badly for all of you that have to miss out!

i wasnt saying u said names like idiot and sh*t someone else said it!! its like u guys have it good i mean by seeing 6 or 7 shows a year are maby more but when shit like this hits Canada its different, people come on here and say were real fans (U.S) and start bad mouthing thats why i said take a monent and be in our shoes for once and think how bad we feel?? were just as a big fan as all u guys what if u lived here and are a huge fan of the band and this happend to u of coarse u would feel the same when i say u i meaneveryone in general

I knew what you meant, and knew you didn't particularly mean me by saying 'you'. And, I NEVER said anyone is less of a fan for having seen them less, or even never seen them at all. Also, like I said, I of course would be VERY disappointed and angry in 'your' collective shoes. But, no, I would in fact NOT feel the same as the few that said and alluded that Staind were unprofessional for actually BEING professional, nor sacastically thank Aaron for letting me down like he actually has it out for Canadians and does this on purpose, etc, etc.
When Seether was supposed to play w/Staind in '06 (I believe), I was VERY disappointed and upset that they cancelled all their dates w/them due to Shaun going into rehab. I had never seen Seether before and was greatly looking forward to it. But, despite my disappointment and anger that I wouldn't get to see them play, Shaun's welfare meant more to me. And, I certainly didn't call him unprofessional, or think he was, for doing what he had to do to try to take care of himself at our so-called expense, that I lost respect for him, or any such unappreciative, self-centered statements/thoughts, like the few on here that I was actually responding to have in regards to Aaron/Staind.

Well u shouldn't bad mouth them or Aaron for getting sick, It is not the man's fault, he has been touring forever, and it was bound to happen that he was going to get sick, traveling in bad weather and everything. It is not his fault nor there's that they show was canceled not rescheduled. I mean yes be upset but don't talk shit, it makes y'all seem unappreciative for everything that they do for us... I mean they miss holidays and take time away for their family and loved one to tour and please us. And the least we can do is be understanding to that. At least y'all are getting your money back. I hope that they will finally get to perform for y'all.

im not the one talking shit nor am i the one disrespecting a few people on here saying there unprofessional nor did i say that but for the ones that did the guy is sick the guy is sick all i am saying is reschedule the damn show haha

Did you ever take in to consideration that maybe they didn't reschedule the show because maybe just maybe the venue doesn't have a date open for them? Do you know the procedure and hassle it is to reschedule a show? It's not an easy task they can't just say ok Staind sorry your sick see ya next week. The venue has to give a date and maybe they have no dates open right now. I'm sure Staind will play there soon but just not right now so hang in there your day is coming. I'm extremely upset. He might actually be sick this time but he wasn't the first two times I spent a lot of money on his shows and took time off of work to see him. He cancelled in 2003 because he was afraid to get a more than one in a million disease and then cancelled Niagara Falls in 2005 and gave no reason.
If you don't think you are going to sell enough tickets either book a smaller venue or don't book the fucking show at all. And if you know you have problems getting over the border? Don't go! I have never been more pissed at a band. I'd expect it out of a band like Guns N' Roses, yet at least I have a 90% success rate when I purchase tickets for that band. Staind?? I am fucking 0 for three! I've seen drug fueled bands like Headstones and the Tea Party over 25 times each without a band induced cancellation.
I'm a huge fan of the music the band produces, I am certainly not a fan of how they treat their Canadian fans that are passionate about their creations.

You know, I just find it funny how the people that are making a bigger fuss about all this are the people that aren’t from Toronto and the people that never got one show cancelled on them let alone three like us. Such a post was aimed for the people going to this show so everyone needs to just chill, put Staind’s Tormented album on and listen to ‘Tolerate’.

Hopefully this will be my last post, since you obviously do not get it...or don't want to. I have had MANY shows cancelled on me, just not Staind. Like I said, I had a bunch of Seether shows cancelled on me, but I didn't disrespect them because of it, just as most of you in Toronto didn't disrespect Staind/Aaron. But, to the self-centered, insensitive, disrespectful few that did, I say boo-f'n-hoo. To the rest of you, I am (and I'm guessing Staind is) very sorry that you all seem to keep getting the shiite end of the stick, and I truly hope that someday that will be remedied for you.
