staind in kansas city SETLIST Oct. 10th (w/ creed)

Show was scheduled to start at 7:30... got there at about 7:50 because i figured there would be a band before staind (which i dont think there was?)... spleen was halfway over by the time we got to our seats... I would have to say "This is it" surprisingly was probably my favorite song they played. They had some extra sound effects thrown in with the song.. sounded awesome. I was 14 rows back on the Mushok side so i got the enjoyment of watching him play like a madman the whole time (llllllllllllove it)... and aaron's new tattoo on his neck looked pretty badass.. all around great performance by staind as usual. wish they would have played longer though... especially since i threw down 215 bucks for me and my girl's seats...

1) Spleen
2) Falling
3) Fade
4) Right here
5) This is it
6) So far away
7) For you
8) Outside (acoustic aaron only)
9) All I want
10) It's been awhile
11) Mudshovel

aaaaand i left as soon as staind was done so i don't have any creed setlist nor would i have known the names of the songs they played.

I was there. There was a band before Staind bc I heard an Alice In Chains song from the bar. Bout got into a fight bc some idiot got upset that we stood the whole time. I guess he thought he came to the circus, not a rock concert. I was pretty upset with the crowd. Aaron shouldn't have to tell you to get up, you should be up rocking out! I think when you buy tickets they should have you rate how big of a fan you are and seat accordingly. If you want to sit stay up top in the risers. Wish I had bought the meet and greet tix so we could have been in the first 5 rows but I couldn't wait for them to post and got tix in the presale. When Aaron comes to St.Charles I'll definitely sit closer. 10 rows up the side is so far away.
WTF? I had the same problem in Evansville, In. Everytime I see Staind, actually. People are always yelling at us to sit down..Yeah, Right!! It aint gonna happen... You dont sit down at a concert, esp. Staind! I always stand the whole show and just keep telling the people behind us to fuck off.

^^

I deal with the same sh#t every time I hit up a Staind show too. That's the way the last few times I've seen Staind I've either gone for pit or lawn tickets. I only got seats last time around simply because I won the tickets. I can't sit down at a rock show. I despise Hinder but I even stood for them. Sitting at a rock show is like munching on a dozen jelly donuts during a marathon... you just don't do it!
no doubt u cant fucking sit down at a rock show!!!! and staind def duznt play long enuff at their shows!!!
I put this post else where on here but re posting here
I went to the show last night to see (hear, feel) Staind but stayed for Creed and all I have to say is Staind does not need fire to put on a hot show. His words, his voice, their music...hotter than Hell its self. No need for pyro!
Aaron sings with a voice that needs no recording studio to enhance it. He has hands down the greatest voice and lyrics that make you feel so many emotions, and really....who does sits at a rock concert? If Spleen can't bring you to your feet then your either in a wheel chair or dead.
Staind=pure awesome badass!

lol. agreed.
"Aaron sings with a voice that needs no recording studio to enhance it. He has hands down the greatest voice and lyrics that make you feel so many emotions..."

So, so true. Saturday night's concert was the first Staind concert I'd been to and I found myself wanting to grab people and PULL them to their feet. This band seems to be somewhat underappreciated for the talent they possess.

I may be able to see Aaron Lewis' acoustic show in Las Vegas around the first of the year. I hope the audience is better there...
Thanks, Nima. I tried to remember the set list when I posted a blog of the concert, but I waited too many days and could only remember a few.

We left as soon as Staind was done as well. Wish the order had been reversed--Creed opening for Staind. Heh. That would have been worth your $215, yeah?
I wanted to yell at the people around me to "GET THE FUCK UP!", and I couldn't believe the people by the stage could just sit down.

Anyway, Staind was awesome as always. It was the first time in Mudshovel that I've ever seen, not even in videos, that at the end chorus he said "You can take" and then just screamed "away" and then went into the ending "Mudshovel" part. I thought it was pretty badass.

I stayed for almost all of Creed, I've always been a Creed fan, Creed was even the first concert I ever went to (the one he was talking about at the concert). Though, I don't know what the hell happened to Scott Stapp's voice, it wasn't very good. It was actually kind of irritating in some songs and was almost painful to listen to him try to sing any high parts. And it was cool that Mark added some solos to old Creed songs. It WOULD have been cooler if they just did it to maybe... I dunno, 3 songs max? But one was added to EVERY single song, which I thought really took away. And it seemed poor Scott wanted to add a "Solo" as well, so during the solos, he would repeat the name of the song, or the last line he just sang, like 5 or 6 times, for whatever dumbass reason.

Anyway, I left probably 8-9 songs into Creeds list, I dunno how much longer they played.
I'd been wondering if Aaron came back on and sang with Creed at any point. I take it not in the first 8-9 songs. :)

No, Arron never came back out but Scott S while giving kudos to Staind tried singing a line of theirs, all I could say was don't even try.
yeah i know exactly what you're talking about. on mudshovel aaron just went all out with the screaming. loved it. vintage staind right there. my girl was even talking about it the rest of the night how it was badass to hear. since they played mostly singles i wish they would have thrown epiphany in there. also, another show without seeing them play "Waste" :( i dont think it's ever gona happen for me even though it's one of my favs.
