I recently went to Aaron's Solo Show in Reno at the Silver Legacy, back on January 9 I think. Anyways... I can truly say that it was one of the better times that I've had at a Staind/Aaron show. Aaron did a great job as always, but aside from that I was in great company. Being that I'm from the Philadelphia area I try to get out to the west coast as often as I can to catch a show, just for a change of scenery basically and to catch up with some friends. This time around I was fortunate enough to meet one of the most sincere, dedicated Staind fans I'd ever met... Josh from Arizona. He also happens to be a Moderator for the boards, which might be a surprise to some people because he really keeps to himself and doesn't broadcast it. Josh had traveled several hours from Arizona up to spend the weekend with us in Reno and I'm very happy I finally got the chance to meet him. I do regret though not spending more time with him, as I was pretty caught up in traveling myself... so hopefully next time. He is such a nice-ass dude, very down-to-earth and just and all around good guy.

The West Coast scene is more spread out with fans few and far between so Josh doesn't usually receive the recognition I think he deserves... or Staind fans in general out West. The shows are usually pretty far apart and often not in the same places each year so it's hard for them to get together as often as they'd like. Josh is always quick to offer his help and insight while moderating the boards and I just figured I'd take a minute out of my day to give a shout out and a little well-due recognition to a great guy I had the pleasure of meeting. If anyone needs any help or a little information he's always around here somewhere... thanks for all that you do Josh!
