Signature Gibson?
Has anyone heard anything about it? Been searching for some intel but no news anywhere... =(

He went to Gibson and talked with them about having a signature guitar built hasn't been put out in mass production as of yet. It's going to be a reproduction of the vintage Gibson J45. There was a blog on here about it a few months ago. Anyway here's a link to the story on Gibson.

word is they are gonna be in production before January, he's using like 13 of them to record his solo record....they will go up for auction for a pretty penny....then the numbered line of about 500 of them will be sold (prolly all to dealers)....he (Aaron) said he is keeping #413 of course....

Hey hubby, none from what Aaron told us are going up for auction. All but the 13 he is using to make the solo CD and the #413 he will be keeping will be retailed at around $3500 and then the 13 he is going to be using to make the solo CD will go back to the Gibson showroom when he is done and go for $10,000.
I think he is hoping all end up in dealers hands. Kind of the only way you will see them kept off ebay so some ass can't make tons of money off him. I have a feeling that influenced the cost of them too. I do believe the line will be coming out in Jan. if I remember right.

Can't say I'm a great guitarrist but it gives me so much to play, like therapy... So I can't really say I'd consider it a waste of money. Already started to save up, I'm at about 100 dollars, hahaha...
