Saw Dane cook last night in Boston
He was funny. I've seen the act before on tv so i knew all the jokes. But i still had a good time.
I don't get why SOOO many people hate him. Do a google search and it's just all hate. Even in his show Dane cook talk's about how he googled himself and read all the forums about how people hate him. His comedy is more like general story telling, and he does a great job at it.
Either way he sells out stadiums which most comedians can't do, and in todays world HATING is a typical thing to do. O well. Anyone else enjoy his comedy?

Sorry man, I'm a hater, and I have a pretty well developed sense of humor.
I have been a fan of comedy since the days of Eddie Murphy Raw, and Delirious.
Love Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle, like Jay Mohr and Carlos Mencia (only his stand-up, not the sketch show).
More recently I like Louis CK, and to a lesser degree, Jim Norton.
But I just can't dig Dane Cook. I watched his whole big show from Madison Square Garden, and maybe chuckled like 3 or 4 times. Not a single deep-down belly laugh.
Can't quite put a finger on why, but I gave him a shot, and he did not make the cut.

Dane Cook is pretty funny. I like his older stuff a lot, but I feel like his newer material is getting progressively less funny. Glad you had a good time!

Nobody can tell a story as good as Ron White....but the funniest guy out there right now is Jeff Dunham and his cast of dummies...

can anyone say....Ralphie May! and you should watch the marijauna spoof documentary of Super Size Me.... starring Doug Benson. called Super High Me. down right hilarious and educational about the great effects of medicinal MARIJAUNA. cmon people. marijauna should be legal and alcohol ILLEGAL! straight up. look at the statistics of alcohol related deaths as opposed to marijauna related deaths. haha sry lost my train of thought for a minute there.

While I would definitely give you that they are probably BOTH funnier than Dane Cook, Ron White is the slimiest dude imaginable, and a ventriliquist? So 1950's...
I mean, how many times can he possibly make the terrorist dummy scream "I keel you!!", and have it still be funny? He lost me after about 2, then the next 100 were pretty unbearable.
Maybe it's funnier with "herbal enhancement"?

I actually like Dane and I also like Bob Kelley. Jimmy Norton is good, he can be really vulgar, which I actually don't mind, he is usually pretty funny. Louis CK was awesome when I saw him last year, probably my favorite. I don't get the whole craze with Jeff Dunham lately, I tried watching a special a few weeks back... I just don't find him that funny but people in the audience were cracking up.

i'm glad snl is back! jeff dunham is high-larious, until he isn't anymore...he's easy to get sick of. i find dane cook appeals to younger dudes. yet my all time fav is kathy griffin...that girl'll say ANYthing, and no one is safeeeeeeeeeee. LOLOL

yea im 23 now, i deff liked dane cook more a few years ago.. But i saw many adults in the crowd...
