i think aaron's more of a lover, than a fighter. and raina's right, it's everywhere. at every show. there's ALWAYS a handfull of em. you can't escape it. people are fuckers. and they're everywhere. if you remember the ole saying, to achieve instant assholeness....just add alcohol....

You may me right but Aaron was pretty animated that evening. Here is what he said, “What the f*** is wrong with [someone] throwing something at me! [I’d] punch him in the mouth; you’re paying good money!"
Maybe he is both. ha ha
We would have to say it was chaotic that evening. We are not sure if you read our review that evening but it would give you an idea of what transpired that evening. At least five individuals were tossed out that evening. We were right near the backstage entrance doors as these individuals were escorted out.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Aaron twice now so far....He was extremely nice towards everyone both times I met him and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. If I were the one up there singing a solo and this happened to me, I would get very pissed too! So I don't blame him for sticking up for all of us audience members (and himself) that weren't the douches being rude to each other, throwing stuff at and all over other people, and using elbows, knees, and whatever they could use against all of us up front as human battering rams to get up closer to the front. I LOVE to mosh at concerts, but I didn't want to be in it cause they were insane (and drunk as hell), but they drug me into it anyway (at least 4 times that night!). There was also some crowd surfing going on too right by me and they threw a guy up in the air right over my head and the heel of his shoe came down on my head! then there was also the fact that b/c of what was happening with all them pushing us all against each other HARD in the front of the stage from the back forcing us into each other, I ended up getting pushed sideways and my left heel and ankle slipped on all that beer and whatever else was on the floor (it was very wet and slippery) I managed to hurt my lower tendon and ankle....so I had to wear my aircast for about 2 days to keep it from hurting. I know ya gotta take the good with the bad, especially when there's alcohol and moshing involved so I expected some chaos, but not to see someone be rude and start throwing stuff at the stage, yet alone actually hit Aaron as he's performing!! I'm glad that you saw those ppl get escorted out, cause way up in front, I couldn't see all the way to the back.... all I could see is a couple security guards escort someone out in the front of the stage (I THINK it might have been the crowd surfer who hit me in the head with his heel) I'm ok now though... but I did read the review and it was nicely written and those pictures rocked!! :-)

Sorry to hear you got hurt. Next time we are at The Venue, I think I would like to sit upstairs. Unless of course you stand off near the side like we did near the backstage area. That is pretty safe. Security was there at all times guarding the door.

This is so infuriating! Regardless if the person was drunk or not, that never should have happened. I love how Aaron stopped the concert and said what he did. "Is anybody standing next to the douche bag that just threw that shit? Punch him right in the fucking mouth!" Goddd I love it! I can't wait to meet him.

yup, I agree with 413..... u didn't quote him right in the review on what he actually said..... I was right up there when it all went down, and I KNOW exactly what he said, the people in back MIGHT have heard it a lil differently because the crowd was so loud in the back (from what my fiance told me since we got separated and I ended up in the 2nd row in front of the center of the stage and he was wayyyyy in the back) . I know that I'm not gonna forget this incident for a long time.

yeah, i have to agree that is bullshit. i went to the show in lowell, ma. i was 1st row, IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'LL NEVER FORGET IT. i was there for staind and seether, basically. love papa roach what an amazing show. anyway seether kinda let me down (although nutshell and broken sounded awesome) ... anyways, i'm just enjoying myself and this girl just plows her way to the front AS IF I WOULD LET THAT HAPPEN!!! I wanted to throw hands, she was REALLY PISSING ME OFF!!! It's people like that that ruin the whole show we're all there 4 one thing and that's to see your favorite band, right in front of yor eyes, playing all your favorite songs, WHY CAN'T EVERYONE JUST JUST GET ALONG, HUH?

my fiance' and i were at this show and this was so stupid of this asshole to do this shit. SHOW SOME DAMN RESPECT!!!! Musicians work hard to put on shows for us, and for long time staind fans like me, who are inspired by their music..don't do shit like this and do all of us fans that were there to enjoy them a favor...RESPECT THEM!!!
