it seems like this album is probably the weakiest album staind has out there. I think they need to get back to there albums like break the cycle and 14 shades of grey. I am not saying the album is terrible but i have a feeling staind is starting to get of track. Songs like the "corner" and "tangled up in me" are really not what i expected out of staind. Believe was an unreal single it was exactly what i wanted to hear as there first single but it seems like the rest of the album is too out of proportion. they need there harder songs too. Chapter Five had the perfect selection of hard and soft songs but the illusion of progress is just not nearly as close as there other albums. I think they need to start getting back to what they are like the rest of there albums because if they have another album like this it could be pretty bad.

is this myles on another name? GO AWAY DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do people not understand the word "mature" staind has matured.. Marriage/Kids/Aging... It happens to us all!!!

Oh boy here we go again.
I phoned Aaron, he says he's sorry and he's gonna cancel his solo tour and get right back in the studio and redo the album heavier to appease the 5 people that are trapped in the year 2000.
with all due respect.... i think the "corner" is a well orchestrated song, and in my top 3 from the album. i love the lyrics and the choir. i think it shows the diversity of the band. it's different and i like that. ... i also like the song "tangled up in you"... everything changes, even musicians change their style and preferences. but in my humble opinion i really like the album. it speaks volumes to me and i think it's right on track. just my opinion, we all have one. :)
It's a deep and profound album.
You lend weight to the old saying better to be thought a fool than to open ones mouth and remove all doubt.
The only band who can get away with putting the same shit out again and again is AC/DC =P

stop listening for what ISN'T there, and start listening to what IS there...you won't be disappointed....

That's so true. This album has a lot to offer. Of course it's different from their old stuff, and I absolutely love their old songs. But I think this album shows a different side of them. Different, but still amazing.
I haven't heard the new album yet...but i'll borrrow the CD from mom! LOL!!! And I agree, there just can't be a song that you cannot like from Staind and be a Staind fan!!!! Haha!

I have been a Staind fan since I first heard them about 8 years ago. Every album they make is awesome including this one. There's just something about Staind...
Every single Staind album has a slow song on it, or a song that's more acoustic based. There's nothing wrong with Tangled up in you, it fits in there just like the other songs on the other albums.
