To all those who attended the Jan 10th Aaron Lewis show in Wendover,

I am one of those people who sees this band for the true inspirational artists that they are. Aaron Lewis has my profound admiration and respect. I will never miss a show, if it is within a relative distance. I feel as though he speaks to my soul in a way I cannot describe in words. Over the years as I have watched and listened as he has changed and evolved into a rather settled person, I have come to respect him even more. Kudos to him and the other band members for being true family men, and also being able to still rock us all! I must say however, that I was rather disgusted by some of the drunken idiots at this last show 1/10/09 in Wendover, Nevada. I, along with many others went there to hear Aaron sing. I did not go there to hear him disrespected by hecklers, and people shouting out stupid remarks! It was apparent on more than one occasion that Aaron was tired of it as well. His show this year was quite a bit shorter than last years. And I can certainly see why. Aaron has a true gift, and for people to treat him that way when he was so generous to share it with us, really pisses me off! All I have to say about this is...If you pay to see a show, do not waste your time, and mine by stopping the artist from doing what he does best. This means SIT DOWN AND SHUT THE HELL UP! Don't get up, walk around, go to the bar to buy drinks, and certainly if you are not drinking you will have a better experience, and this also prevents your disruptive bathroom breaks. You are not the only one who paid their hard earned cash to see him perform. We all did and we all deserve to hear him without interuptions. Aaron, I want you to know that you are a very important person in my life, without your words, I wouldn't be the person I am today. Just like you, I have had to overcome many obstacles and I appreciate your help along the way! Here's to many more years of inspiration and growth. Sux to get old, but I am happy to say, that I am a mom to 4 handsome sons, who have been raised to your words, good and bad. They too can see "the bigger picture" and know what it is that you are saying. I guarantee you that they would have been far better behaved than most of the "21" and older crowd, and they would have certainly have given most anything to be there. Sad that an age is supposed to determine a maturity level. This is anything but true. I hope you continue to grace us with your presence Aaron. We do love you dearly! So I guess you will all have to "Pardon Me" for what I have said and if you don't like it, you can shove it! My nickname isn't Weapon of Mass Destruction for nothing! MZ-1 WMD

Thanks for agreeing that these Aaron shows are not Staind shows and if a rocker can't sit down, can't stop drinking, or/and can't shut the fuck up-DON'T GO!!!! I feel bad for anyone who shows their ass at the AC shows..

The biggest point I am trying to make is that if you want to get wasted, yell, scream and mosh, then save it for a STAIND concert, NOT an Aaron Lewis solo accoustic tour! Believe me as a teenager, yes, under 21, I could drink most of my guy friends under the table. I weighed 85lbs as a senior in high school, and could rock on with the best of them. I was nearly killed at the Metallica And Justice For All show, in SLC, Ut. I was DRUNK, and got seperated from my friends trying to get to the front of GA, I got stuck in a mosh pit and trampled by skinheads who were moshing. I broke 4 ribs, had cuts and bruises, concussion, and lost all feeling on my right side for 2 weeks. Had it not been for my big hair LOL, by which another concert goer pulled me out by my hair, I may not be here today. I am not opposed to letting it all hang out and having a good time. But do it in an appropriate setting, a mellow accoustic tour, is anything but that! Man I just dated myself with that one didn't I?? Getting older sure sux.....
Yes, GA can be dangerous, especially at the bigger shows. We went to Rob Zombie 2yrs ago, and watched a guy get his 2 front teeth knocked out in the pit. He was drunk and stupid and decided to go in with a bunch of BIG tongans. Thank God we were in the balcony and just kickin back enjoying the show. I punched out a 50yr something guy who decided to knock a 17yr old kid around at the 30 Seconds To Mars show 3yrs ago. I warned the guy to knock it off and even though my husband and brother (who happens to look like Aaron Lewis) were behind me, he continued to be an asshole. So I hit him sqaure in the nose and he went down. That is another reason they call me Weapon of Mass Destruction. I may be little, but I take no shit from anyone.....I never saw my husband or brother laugh so hard!

Yea..It's nuts...My last incident was putting a drunk into a submission hold on the ground over a guitar pick that he grabbed out of wifes hand so I know concert drama...lol

hay i just read this and im sooo shocked any one could behave like this!! im not lucky enough to have been to any of Aaron's solo dates (as im from the uk) but to behave like that is just wrong!! although at the manchester academy show on 22nd of jan there was 2guys at front who was more concerned with getting pecturms from the band than watching them play!! instead of watching they spent the whole set searching the floor trying the get more plectrums!! i told them to fucking behave!! but well they didnt listin!!

i cant understand why any one would pay there hard erned money to go to a show n talk shit n well totaly ignore the band!! it really iriatates me!! n if i one day am lucky enough to get to solo tour date... ill make damm sure people around me shut the hell up lol!
i no that feeling... i just forget i need to go to the bathroom as soon as it starts lol!!

is it just me, or when youre at a show, and your feet hurt or you need the bathroom.... as soon as it starts you forget all that??? ...i dont think i have ever 'gone' during a show!!
Wow... someone got their teeth knocked out at a Rob Zomie concert? bizzare! I've seen so many people break their faces, have piercings torn out etc etc I don't really pay much attention anymore, they put themselves in that position. When I jump in the pit I know I run the risk of the same thing happening. I've broken my rib and toe but thought that was quite ammusing, my toe?! haha.

The gigs in the UK used to be pretty brutal, since they allow so much crowd surfing etc... I used to just LOVE getting kicked in the head by New Rock boots! ;)
UK people... what's it like over there now?
The outdoor shows are just as wild-nothing changed. We had so many fights at the Theory of a Deadman pit, the local cops had to kick them off the stage in Orlando. I had to carry my buddy out of the last shinedown pit in Jacksonville-poor guy was covered in shaving cream lol. I tried to protect him, but I wanted to rock out too and I had my own injuries to deal with. The indoor venues are kinda different. Security is all up in the pits and will grab a surfer QUICK.
