to start; staind is my favorite band
but im extremely weary about this...Bottom was a good energy song..and then i hear Not Aagain and now Eyes Wide Open..while theyre good songs i cant get over thinking that aaron is forcing angry/heavy music just to appease some loudmouth fans who cry for it back. what the idiots dont care about is aaron writing honest music apparently. people want him to PRETEND like he's not okay now just to make "good" music..whats the point of listening to forced, fabricated music? im not saying this is that but i have my worries..who is aaron even directing this music towards? his ex? is he writing about his ex just so he can sound angry again? like i said, stainds my favorite band and i hope this is actually honest stuff and wasnt forced by the fans...

I saw that to, but I think the title will be 'Staind' then. I don't care very much, they are both not original. Hopefully the new album cover will be awesome

jdanek630- you and I are on the same page... I caught that too. I'd prefer se7en to staind I think... but really so long as the songs we've heard so far are this album they can call it whatever they want!
as far as the comment above from Nick goes... you clearly haven't met aaron or been listening to any of his words. I don't think you can "force" aaron to do things he doesn't want to do. Aaron seems like a very independent person who makes his own calls and decisions. Per the video posted in another recent forum discussion Mike said Aaron came to the band wishing to do something "heavy" this time around. Aaron doesn't fabricate ANYTHING. The band is pretty fan oriented... but I doubt that if all the fans started suggesting aaron try his hand at gangster rap that he would seriously go out and make a gangster rap album because fans told him to...

If im honest,i am most definatly feeling this track, and i don't know what nicks on about, because the plan for the last record was that it was going to be heavy but they got in the studio and it obviously did'nt work out like that,so i don't reckon he's doing it just for fans,the band minght want to give a different feel to this record to switch things up a little and see how it goes..And yeah i clicked on straight away with the whole self titled thing and seven, but as previously stated by heather im not really botherd what its called just as long as the songs we've heard and plenty more bangers are the album : )

Man I just listened to the new song. I swear it sounds like something I've heard before. The tune is similar and i just can't put a finger on who it sounds like but Damn that song is fucking badass!!!!!! Man this album is going to rock. Hopes for a gangsta Rap by Aaron on the new album! LOL! Like when he broke it out with Limp Bizkit that one time or even when he did it at one of his acoustic shows. Aaron can rap so don't think he can't

This song is just phenominal. I love every album Staind has done in it's own way, but I am so glad they seem to have come full circle. I am not worried Aaron is forcing it at all. I am a pretty happy person, but I love rocking out hard. I love aggressive music. Maybe Aaron just wants to rock out again. He does not have to be miserable to rock.
