Staind,Slipknot, Chevelle, Drowning Pool, All That Remains, Hurt and Dirtfedd performing at Edgefest 2009 May 9th in North Little Rock,AR.All Day event starting at 2:30 PM on Cooper Farm.100.3 The Edge the station sponsoring the event simply is calling it the hard rock woodstock.

This has got to be the biggest thing that has ever happened to AR! Wish it would of been closer,but still may make the drive down there.

The all day concerts are fucking awesome. If anyone gets to Washington DC around May there's one a local radio station puts on every year. Staind played it last year, alond with Chevelle, Seether, Finger Eleven, Deaf Pedestrians, live and The Blackjacks (local band) it was fucking awesome. Cant wait May 16th itll be Papa Roach, Third eye blind, The red jumpsuit apparatas, and The Offspring ...so far anyways!!

ok even though I live wayyyy up in Northwest Indiana, arkansas is longgggg ass drive, but I can be there in about 14 hours, give or take, depends on the traffic through st. louis! St. Louis has some terrible traffic going over the big bridge that goes over the river next to the arch!! My parents and I used to make a trip to Ft. Worth, TX in about 15-16 1/2 hours every summer for a couple of weeks until my great grandaddy died in 1993 and We'd always pass through little rock (well the outter edge, but still in the city limits) when dad decided to go through arkansas on the way to TX. Even if I managed to scrape up the money to get tix for mayday and for this concert too..... I don't have enough money to go, sadly. Indianapolis is less than 2 hours from me and so is Chicago, so I'm lucky that I live in a pretty decent area and can get to several concerts that are in reasonable driving distance each year and still be able to drive home that night and sleep in my own bed... I'm jelous of those of you who live down in Arkansas or close enough to go to this show... let me say it again I'm friggin JELOUS!!!! Thank god I have Mayday to look forward to this year... every band there this year is really good... not sure about this band I never heard of called people in planes.... but 2 of my other fave non staind bands are headlining (Disturbed and Shinedown)... I still haven't forgotten when Staind headlined Mayday in 2005... freaking unbelievably amazing!! Especially when Mike played Dime's guitar and they covered Pantera's This Love... so have fun all you lucky ppl that get to go to edgefest

Alright, so I live in Butt Fuck Egypt Arkansas... But last night was well worth the trec... We went to Edgefest in North Little Rock Arkansas... We waited in traffic on a freeway for Four and a half hours... found a short cut into an area close to Cooper farm, where it was being held... paid a man $20 bucks to park in front of his house and NOT get towed, then we walked 3 miles to the farm, not to mention that a mile of this was down a flooded road that was KNEE HIGH deep!!! Needless, to say, we stripped down and made it across, all with my 9 year old son in tow!!! (loving every minute of this, I might add!!!) We made it into the concert, 5 hours later than planned, but in time to see the end of Drowning Pool... That's alright, I ain't mad at cha... but up next were Chevelle, Staind and Slipknot, who all FUCKIN rocked our wet socks off!!! The misery of our journey was well worth our effort!!! Just know, Staind, the pain, misery and heartache we went through to see you!!! ALL WORTH IT! Thanks for an amazing night! One we will NEVER forget... Oh, and by the way, when we got there, it was SO muddy, that you could barely walk, but it was great to watch the naked chicks mad wrestle!!! LMAO!!!!! Thanks again and YOU FUCKIN ROCK!!! By the way, You Tube has footage of the Water Walk we took... Enjoy!!!
