Permalink Reply by spidermonkey on February 20, 2009 at 9:58pm I think Staind's next album should..... uhhh... I don't know... reflect who they are and where they are in their lives at that moment in time? There's a novel idea. It's a good thing I don't need to tell them that though, considering Aaron has stated this for years upon years. I don't want a heavier and darker album if it's a charade. I want what's real. If they want to go even softer and mellower, that's absolutely fine by me. Chances are I'll love it. As Staind has matured over the past decade, as have I. I can't relate to 95% of the mood of Tormented/Dysfunction. But hey, to each their own. But seriously, I'd absolutely love to see these types of requests i.e. "I want the heavier Staind back" or "I want more screams" or "I want more drop d chords" just come to an end..... let them do their thing. If you like it - great, continue being a loyal Staind fan. If you don't, move along.....
