Bands you give unconditional support for...

The discussion title is pretty straightforward.

List all or any band(s) that you give your unconditional support for. When a particular artist or band announces an upcoming album or tour, you're one of the first to purchase PRE-sale tickets or albums, without even needing to hear a single off of the upcoming album. You go out of your way to make sure your collection of the band's works is complete.

You get the gist of it...

My short, but consistent list:

- StainD (& A.L.)
- Linkin Park
- Kevin Matisyn (Formerly of Evans|Blue, presently with Parabelle)
- Payable On Death

Limp Bizkit

I used to support Linkin Park no matter what, but their new style, has totally driven me away.

Just out of plain curiosity bro..... what do you think of the "new" LB (Results May Vary, TUTP1...)?

*P.O.D. (also known as payable on death).. Their music has saved me many times from the brink of self destruction as well as Staind's

Hell yeah.... not sure how I possibly forgot about P.O.D...... I own ALL of their albums, even '94's Snuff the Punk. They have such a long history and such an extensive discography now.... they're definitely a band that I feel never got the credit they were due, even when 'Satellite' was a huge hit album.

I'm a moron, I didn't even realize that I had mentioned P.O.D. when I first created this thread.

Snuff the Punk is pretty much the equivalent to Staind's Tormented.... it was raw and brutal (in a christian-metal kinda way...) & was also independently released by the band - so the # of copies out there are pretty limited. I got lucky & found it at FYE like 8 years ago... it was used & going for $12 or so, so I bought it! Glad I did, turns out to be somewhat of a rare one. I'm sure you can find it on Amazon or eBay or any of the usual rarity outlets like that.

To be honest, I don't like the CD at all, it's just a collector's item haha - much like my feelings towards Tormented. I didn't start loving P.O.D. 'til they released '99's Fundamental Elements of Southtown. I've loved everything they've down since then!
