A must read from 2-5-10.....
So I showed up with my wife around 5pm at mohegan sun. Part of me wanted to try to get view of Aaron getting inducted into the walk of fame, but I figured it'd be packed and I wouldn't see anything. Little did I know unplanned we walked into the casino right where the induction was happening. There wasn't nearly as many ppl there as I thought. I got some good pics and moved to the side of the stage. Aaron did his thing and got rushed backstage through a door which I happened to be 10 feet away from. The door stayed open a little though, and I didn't know why... Then Aaron's wife Vanessa was making her way to the door to be with her husband. Just as she was about to close the door two girls screamed her name. Some old friends I guess, becauese they exchanged hugs....Now I am the last person to do what I did next. I usually mind my business and try not to bother anyone, but Aaron Is my hero. Just like so many others he has helped me like only some people can understand.....just before Vanessa closed the door I said " excuse me Vanessa" and she actually to my shock paid attention to me... Completley scared, nervous, and feeling soo rude, I said "I'm sorry to bother you but Aaron is a hero of mine, It would be my life's dream just to shake his hand and to say thank you". I then showed her my arm.......About 5 years ago I went through some tough shit and Aarons words played a huge roll in helping me through. I decided to get a tribal tat just like him to always remember the man who had helped me though though times. (a full sleeve tribal tat, I know kinda extreame) But he means so much to me.......So Vanessa then said thats so awesome let me see if I can get you on the meet and great or something. She then proceded backstage and the door shut.... I then figured I wouldn't see her again, haha...but 30 seconds later, which felt like 30 minutes she poked her head through the door and waived my wife and myself in...ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!! lol...I was so excited I didn't know what to do. I walked in and there Aaron was with his daughter and he looked right at me and said whats up. I shook his hand I said I gota show you my arm. He was fucking amazed. "wow look at that" came out of his mouth and a huge smile came across his face. I told him he was my hero, and how he means so much to me. He said thank you so much, and that my tibute to him (my Tat) was awesome. I snagged two pics with him, one with just him and myself, and another with my wife....Aaron then signed my bicep which was the same arm I got the tribal tat on... The next day I went to my tattoo artist and he made that signiture permenent!!!..... SO I shook his hand again and he said thank you so much and enjoy the show. It was fucking amazing. I then said thank you a million times to his wife and she was so nice and said it was no problem at all......It was truely a dream come true. And the best part was I had no intention on trying to meet him. I figured it'd never happen and I'd never be lucky enough. Im still surprised I had the balls to say somethin to vanessa, cause it isn't like me at all to intrude. But it was a once in a lifetime chance....It was truely an amazing night. I'll never ever forget.....oh yea and the show obviously kicked fucking ass as usual!!!

Oh my goodness, that story was beautiful!! That was definitely a once in a lifetime chance :) You should upload those pictures on here!!
Also, what does Vanessa look like? Just in case the same incident could happen to me :)
