we saw him at ram's head live a year ago. the atmosphere is more like his new stuff. he does a lot of covers...and does them WELL. aaron is more conversational, so you get to see more of his personality. at rams head, he stopped mid song to yell at people in the audience for being rude, and it was awesome. effers were talking like they were at a restaurant and aaron was background music...he nailed them, it was great. love you aaron! have fun...

I completely agree with you spidermonkey... it was like I was waiting the whole time for them to really get started. That is ok though... I am already trying to plan my next fix. I am thinking about taking my husband to Aaron's show at Seneca Niagara Casino in Feb '09, for a post V-day vacation. I haven't seen him on his own yet... and I think that might be something different to experience.

Has anyone seen him solo? What did ya think?
Dustin,

I am sorry to report that the only ballad you get is "Epiphany" and that was strickly accoustic. So disappointing Aaron couldn't substitute "Tangled up in you" or better yet "Zoe Jane" I would have loved to have heard some more tunes from "Dysfunctional."

wow, i would have expected more stuff off the new cd, not that i'm complaining :p and zoe jane seems to not make it into the list nearly as much as i would like :(
eh, i supose you gotta take what you can get, it IS staind, so regardless it's all good! what about those other set lists? :)
I felt as if PAPA ROACH really took the show! There was so much energy from that band...and the crowd just fed off of them. They played a handful of stuff from their last album...a new song from the upcoming album, and of course "Forever" and "Getting Away With Murder." You're gonna love them...great energy!

Seether...Mostly hits from present album..."Broken" was ok...need that lead singer from Everevesence? to sing with him on that. I can't believe they didn't sing "Gasoline" It's their best hit on the first album. Othewise, they play a decent set.

What city will you be seeing the show? When?

I will be at the show in Johnson City TN on Wensday and I would really love to hear Save Me. I think this is one of the best songs on the new album. Otherwise, I am just looking forward to a good rock show!! We don't get that many in TN.
i'm heading up to dayton on nov 22nd. i've seen papa roach a number of times, seether a couple of times and staind a few times. staind hasn't really come close enough to me enough times, i've gotten to the concerts when work allows, but sometimes those midweek concerts make it rough!
I hate midweeek concerts...whatever happend to a Friday or Sat nite show?

exactly! midweek is only doable if a. you don't have a job, b. you have a job that has random days off, or c. if it's in your town on the next one over...VERY frustrating! i guess the bands get to play more shows and reach more people that way, so you give a little you get a little
what was the set list? was schizophrenic conversations on it?
