Bonus Track Dealing
Well I'm another person who preordered the cd through Staind.com before I knew that itunes was going to have the truth, and something like me. I don't understand why they do this to us in a terrible economic time, nevertheless i digress. The one through staind.com came with live acoustics of its been awhile, devil, and schizophrenic conversations. anyone who bought through itunes wanna talk? :)

I'm not sure if you're trying to use those three tracks as a bargaining chip, but they wouldn't be worth too much... if I'm not mistaken, the itunes download comes with them and all three of them were previously released at some point or another... but rest assured my friend, I think you'll manage to find them one way or another! (I'm in the same boat as you are so I hope I'm right)
On a side note, I hope people don't think I'm trying to steal from the band. I am buying the special edition of the album on my lunch break today. I just find something morally wrong with buying the same album twice and only having one thing to hold in your hands... Here is a list of what I own from the band...there is alot of redundant material here, but I shelled out the dough because these were items I could hold in my hands and they offered something a little different...

Just so we're clear, my issue is not with Staind, it's with the stupid label and itunes...

well i'm just giving an option, damn itunes! I heard Aaron at his solo concert play something like me and i've been waiting for it ever since! gah! someone please help haha

The iTunes SLM is VERY different from his solo SLM. Stick w/a copy of a solo one, imo! And, obviously it woudn't be appropriate to post on here where to find it and the Truth, but I'm sure if you search the web, you'll find them.

It's funny... before hearing this album, I was so excited to hear something like me and the truth, but the album is SOOO good that I don't think I'll enjoy the other 2 as much... I'm sure they're great songs, (I heard the acoustic version of SLM, and it was amazing at the time but The Illusion of Progress is just such a huge step for them... Each song has got a little something that has me wanting to put it on repeat!
So Raina, you were saying that the solo acoustic performance of SLM is better than the studio version... How so? And what about "The Truth"?
Bah, who am I kidding, I STILL can't wait to hear those 2 songs!

NM, I just went on the old board and read all about it haha... It's tough to decide which board to post on. I post on this one because I get the feeling that they are gonna get rid of the old one, but alot of the old school members with something useful to say are on the old one!
